Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience as a professional Data Engineer.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL with experience in query tuning.
- Expertise in Snowflake, including stored procedures, query tuning, isolation levels, resource optimization, etc.
- Proficiency in Apache Spark for both batch processing and streaming and Data Streaming with Kafka.
- Experience working with Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools.
- Strong comprehension of big data design principles and solutions.
- Familiarity with CDC/SCD concepts for managing different types of dimensional tables.
- Experience working with best practices to create objects, models, ingestion, schemas, and databases.
- Proficiency in XML Files Ingestion into Snowflake.
- Experience working with JDBC connection, connecting data from on-prem, and load into Data Store/Snowflake.
