Technical Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
+5 years of experience in deploying changes to production databases.
Proficiency in MySQL and PostgreSQL database administration, including backup and recovery processes.
Strong expertise in performing schema migrations while maintaining data integrity and minimizing disruption.
Demonstrated ability in optimizing database performance, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and caching mechanisms.
Experience with database monitoring tools and setting up alerts to ensure timely issue detection.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive and self-driven attitude, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
