Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical leadership roles, focusing on data operations and enterprise data lakes within the financial sector.
- Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes, DataOps frameworks, data governance, security, compliance, CI/CD pipelines, and agile data management methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise with AWS services, including DMS, Glue, Lake Formation, DataZone, Redshift, S3, KMS, Macie, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, and AWS Organizations, with strong knowledge of multi-account environments, lifecycle optimization, monitoring, and encryption strategies.
- Advanced Python, SQL, and PySpark programming skills for data transformations, optimization, and tuning.
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for automation, Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions for orchestration, and Git for version control with advanced branching strategies.
- Familiarity with Shell scripting for automation tasks.
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect – Professional.
- AWS Data Analytics Specialty or AWS Data Engineer certification.
