Technical Requirements
- +6/8 years of experience developing, implementing, and delivering complex and scalable software systems and services.
- Proficiency in distributed data processing and messaging systems such as Kafka and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of modern data architectures, including data modeling, data storage, and data processing, and familiarity with industry best practices.
- Extensive experience designing cloud-based solutions, particularly on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Expertise in various data formats and schema management, including Parquet, Avro, Iceberg, and ORC.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, and ElasticSearch/Solr, and experience with OLTP/OLAP systems like Redshift and Snowflake.
- Ability to analyze and present cost-benefit analysis of architectural changes and make informed recommendations.
- Passionate about exploring and experimenting with emerging technologies and techniques in data platform design.
- Prior experience with AWS is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) datasets and metrics.
