A Recap of AI in ACTION
A group of our expert software engineers visited their alma mater - National Technological University - to share part of their findings while working on a custom-made chatbot, using various AI tools.
This is the first of a series of talks our team intends to hold at different universities, with the main goal of making AI and its benefits available to the entire community.
For the space of about an hour, a room packed with enthusiastic, curious minds was laser focused on three professionals -- Pablo Abbate (our CEO), Agustin Griguol (Technical Lead), and Diego Serrano (an esteemed teacher from this faculty and also part of our team). The topic? The use of AI to build a personalized chatbot. All three of these colleagues had studied at this university, so coming back to the very place where (in some cases) a thesis had been presented, was a real full-circle moment.
There was a thorough explanation of how the process was developed, from the initial challenges of filtering audio through different AI vendors to the milestone of a person being able to request an appointment with the chatbot in a way that is as natural as interacting with another human.
Wide-eyed students of all ages listened acutely to every word. They were even more puzzled during the Q&A section, where many inquiries surfaced about different scenarios and how the chatbot was built to face them.
We’re very proud of our team, how far they’ve come with this project, and their intention and generosity in sharing what they’ve learned with the rest of their community. Knowledge and ability are the heart of what we do, and we believe this series of talks brings AI enthusiasts and engineers together.
